Statutory School Assessment Outcomes 2025/2026

At Springvale Primary School, we share our statutory assessment results to show pupils’ attainment at key points in their education. The data below includes:

• Reception – Good Level of Development (GLD): The percentage of children achieving the expected level in the early learning goals for communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, physical development, literacy and mathematics by the end of Reception.

• Year 1 – Phonics Screening Check: The percentage of pupils meeting the expected standard in using phonics to read words.

• Year 4 – Multiplication Tables Check (MTC): Results from the online check assessing pupils’ recall of multiplication facts up to 12 × 12.

• Year 6 – Key Stage 2 Assessments (SATs): Pupils’ attainment at the end of primary school, including test results in reading, mathematics, and grammar, punctuation and spelling, alongside teacher assessment of writing.
